Congratulations to the new Centralian Respiratory Therapists for passing the February 2026 Licensure Exam!
Last February 11, 2026, based on results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Central Philippine University achieved an astounding 95.74% passing rate, with 45 out of 47 examinees passing the recently concluded Respiratory Therapists Computer-Based Licensure Exam Board Exam.
Adding to this achievement, CPU also took the 2nd spot nationwide along with 8 topnotchers, earning the university praise and laurels for this momentous achievement. The 8 topnotchers are as follows:
#3 Mary Rose Balomit – 92.00%
#4 Rasta Mae Del Rosario – 91.75%
#7 Kassandra Obedoza – 91.00%
#7 Beatrice Marie Salcedo – 91.00%
#8 90.75% Hannah Cabanggay – 90.75%
#8 Jyea Mae Debil – 90.75%
#9 Angelie Claire Mana-ay – 90.50%
#9 Danica Joyce Hernrose Sardonna – 90.50%
The following day, February 12, 2026, Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, the University President made a special visit to the College of Medicine and the Respiratory Therapy Department. With genuine warmth and fatherly encouragement, he personally met with the students, faculty, and staff to extend his heartfelt congratulations on the remarkable success and continued progress of the college.

When asked for comment he said, “I’m proud. I’m proud of them and I’m so happy for the College of Medicine, particularly the Respiratory Therapy Department. They’re doing a good job. in training our students to see their track record and to see our takers who are good at quality education. I’m happy for them. I’m proud of them. To God be the glory.”
Dr. Diadem Pearl Equina MD, Associate Dean of the College of Medicine was also asked for comment, she said, “We praise God for the job well done and we hope that this will be an inspiration especially to the students to see success in their seniors and our graduates in the board examinations. This will inspire them to do well and to do better if they can. All Glory to God.”
CPU has once again proven that rigorous training, Christ-centered values, and dedicated mentorship produce not just competent professionals, but leaders who will breathe hope and healing into communities across the Philippines and beyond.
