Centralians, make way for the queen!
Hitomi Pangilinan, a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at Central Philippine University, is the new Miss MDC Globe International. The pageant was held in New Delhi, India, last January 7, 2024. Miss Pangilinan competed against 22 National Delegates from 20 different countries where she emerged victorious, bringing home the crown.
She was previously crowned as the first Miss MDC Globe Philippines at the Grand Ballroom of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu last November 26, 2023, marking a significant moment for the Ilonggos.
“A few months ago, the idea of re-entering the pageant industry never crossed my mind, especially considering my last experience was four years ago. Unexpectedly, I not only returned to the scene but also clutched an international title. This journey significantly boosted my confidence and trust in my capabilities. It taught me to prioritize self-love and care, recognizing that before spreading love to others, I must cultivate it within myself,” Hitomi wrote on her Facebook post.
She received the Chart Buster Award and cash and contract with a total worth of ₱250,000.00 during her Miss MDC Globe Philippines coronation.
Thank you for representing our country and bringing home the crown! We are proud of you, Centralian!
