Central Philippine University is one of the local testing centers in Visayas for the 2024 Bar Examinations.

On July 31, 2024, the Supreme Court of the Philippines officially announced the thirteen (13) local testing centers, including Central Philippine University, for the upcoming 2024 Bar Examinations, through the Office of the Bar Chairperson.

During the historic February 2020–2021 Bar examinations, CPU was included in the 31 testing sites nationwide. This year marks the second time that the University has taken on this significant role, reflecting its growing commitment to supporting the legal community.

CPU President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy expressed enthusiasm about the announcement. “We are grateful that CPU has once again been chosen as one of the local testing centers in Visayas,” he said in an exclusive interview.

Central Philippine University remains committed to engaging more deeply with the professional community, contributing to the advancement of the legal field, and hopes that by playing a key role in the bar examination process, it can further enhance its impact on the legal profession.

The following are the established Local Testing Centers (LTCs) for the upcoming #BarNiJLo2024:

2. University of Santo Tomas (España Boulevard, Sampaloc, Manila)
3. San Beda University (638 Mendiola Street, San Miguel, Manila)
4. Manila Adventist College (1975 Corner Donada and San Juan Streets, Pasay City)
5. University of the Philippines-Bonifacio Global City (14th Drive, University Parkway District, Fort Bonifacio Global City, Taguig)
6. San Beda College-Alabang (8 Don Manolo Boulevard, Alabang Hills Village, Cupang, Muntinlupa City)

LUZON:
7. Saint Louis University (A. Bonifacio Street, Barangay ABCR, Baguio City)
8. University of Nueva Caceres (J. Hernandez Avenue, Naga City, Camarines Sur)

VISAYAS:
9. University of San Jose-Recoletos (Basak Campus-Cebu South Road, Basak Pardo, Cebu City)
10. Central Philippine University (Lopez Jaena Street, Jaro, Iloilo City)
