Proud Centralian Milca Jane P. Cameseria, National Outstanding Girl Scout 2022.

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines National Headquarters in Manila recognizes the excellence of one Senior High School Student from Central Philippine University. In a GSP NHQ Circular No.10, Series of 2023 it says: The Girl Scouts of the Philippines is truly proud of the accomplishments and dedication of the National Outstanding Girl Scouts, Troop Leaders and District Field Leaders for the year 2022.

Cadet Girl Scout Milca Jane Cameseria from CPU Senior High School is in the list – with five other National Outstanding Girl Scout Awardees. She is the only one awardee for Western Visayas.

As part of the award, Cameseria will receive a Josefa Llanes Escoda bust trophy, Certificate of Recognition, and an International Travel Grant in the amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos (P50,000.00) – to be taken from The Josefa Llanes Escoda Memento Fund.

Milca Jane P. Cameseria was born on October 8, 2004 to parents Ramil and Mary Jane Cameseria of Zarraga, Iloilo. A consistent Honor Student since her Elementary School in CPU, Cameseria initiates outreach projects on her own. She conducted a feeding program in poor communities last year.
Cameseria belongs to CPU SHS Cadet Troop 23. Her leadership is inspired by the legacy of Josefa Llanes Escoda – icon and founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. Her hobby is reading books.
