Two Central Philippine University Senior High School students, Mico Andrei Hechanova and Aleia Robbyn Muyco emerged as champions in the Youth Category, for the 2nd Manila Dancesports Open Competition. The virtual sports match was held on March 27, 2022.

Six finalists from other schools were beaten by the CPU Senior High School students, who are known to be winners from other previous spectacular contests. The CPU students are scholars in the Senior High School. The CPU SHS entry was sponsored by the CPU Cultural Affairs Office under Director Crista Sianson Huyong.
