Building bridges and fostering collaboration: CPU RT and Medicine students on a retreat.
In a bid to enhance cooperation and synergy, the Central Philippine University (CPU) Respiratory Therapy (RT) and Medicine Student Councils embarked on a strategic planning getaway in Guimaras last August 1 to 2, 2024.
The overnight retreat brought together RT students Andrei John Valle and Julliene Carvajal with their counterparts from the Medicine Student Council (MSC) to map out plans for the upcoming academic year. The picturesque setting of Guimaras Island provided an ideal backdrop for open discussions, idea-sharing, and collaborative goal setting.
The joint initiative aims to foster a stronger relationship between the two programs and explore potential joint events. By combining their expertise and resources, the students hope to create impactful projects that benefit the entire CPU community.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to our Governor, Vice Governor, and Board members of the MSC for the opportunity to engage in this meaningful dialogue, which promises to strengthen our collaborative efforts and deepen mutual understanding,” stated in the CPU Respiratory Therapy Facebook page.
This strategic planning retreat signifies a significant step towards building a more cohesive and effective partnership between the RT and Medicine student bodies.
