Esports in CPU was founded by the CPU Golden Lions Esports Organization in the midst of the pandemic when online gaming gained more traction. It was first comprised of a few gaming enthusiasts; however, the organization was able to grow from 20 members to 150 members in the span of nearly three years. CPU Golden Lions Esports hopes to spread their passion for gaming and give back opportunities through community outreaches.
