RCECC Director Lenny Rose Mucho.

The CPU Review, Continuing Education and Consultancy Center (RCECC) conducted a seminar-workshop on Enhancing Scholarly Digital Presence: Practical Guide to Publishing Research on February 9, 2021, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Mary Thomas Building.

The seminar-workshop was started by a prayer by Ms. Marigold Jutare.

Dr. Reysa Alenzuela, a Library consultant and Graduate school professor, was the resource speaker. She discussed the following objectives of the seminar:
1. Introduce the concept of scholarly communication.
2. Discuss the value of author ID, scholarly profiles and research network.
3. Understand the various concepts of scholarly impacts such as h-index, i10, journal impact factor, article/journal impact factor, almetrics and plumerics.
4. Understand the dynamics of publishing.
5. Create scholarly accounts.
6. Apply the tools in publishing.

Dr. Lenny Rose P. Mucho, RCECC Director, reported that 14 faculty and staff who were doing research attended the seminar.
