Beneficiaries, the CPU Project ETC team, along with Dr. Anecita Catedrilla Seisa, her husband Mr. Joaquin ‘Loy’ Seisa, and their close friends, gather for a photo opportunity following the successful distribution of hygiene kits to the students of Tapikan Elementary School (ES) on February 10, 2025.
On February 10, 2025, the CPU Project ETC, along with the Seisa family, successfully conducted a distribution of hygiene kits to students of Tapikan Elementary School (ES) in Brgy. Tapikan, San Joaquin, Iloilo.
The initiative was led by the Seisa family—Dr. Anecita Catedrilla Seisa, an alumna of the College of Nursing alongside with her husband, Mr. Joaquin “Loy” Seisa. Also present at the event were close friends of Dr. Anecita Catedrilla Seisa, including Ms. Elena Ty Ballaret, Ms. Marivic Tapiculin, and Ms. Maria Fe Sambayan Reyes from the CPU College of Nursing, Class of 1977. Additionally, Ms. Lourdes Nava Gerochi from the Class of 1971, Ms. Mojana Balabagno Weyh from the Class of 1983, Ms. Pinky Balabagno Kukielski from the Class of 1980, Ms. Delia and Mr. Sami Haddad, and Mr. Mario from the Class of 1978, as well as Ms. Vilma Sotelo, were in attendance. They also extended their support by generously donating Ten Thousand Pesos (Php 10,000.00) to fund the upcoming feeding program scheduled for March 2025.
CPU Project ETC members present in the distribution were Mr. Nico Catedrilla, Team Leader; Ms. Joan S. Castor, Logistics Coordinator; and Prof. Sarex D. Dipol, Jr., CPU- Community Engagement & Service-Learning Center (CESL) Director.
The success of the distribution exemplified the power of community support and dedication to education. Through the collective efforts of Seisa family and their team, the initiative made a meaningful impact on students of Tapikan Elementary School, inspiring hope and a renewed drive for their education.
