The #eyeball2019 Youth Meet-up yielded linkages with its stakeholders while advocating the importance of local knowledge in this 4th wave of the Industrial Revolution. During the 3-day conference, all participating schools showcased their Integration Plan on how they could incorporate Local knowledge in Sports and Wellness, Community Engagement, and Research-based curriculum.

AUDRN had three simultaneous Seminar-Workshops on Responsible Use and Sharing of Local Knowledge in Social Media, Gender Fair Education in the Collection and Preservation of Local Knowledge, and Data Privacy Involving Human Participants in Local Knowledge Research to enlighten the participants on the different pressing issues in our society and how they can possibly be addressed through incorporating Local Knowledge. As an output of the workshop, every participating school created project proposals regarding gender-fair, responsible use of media, and data privacy by incorporating Local Knowledge.

Participants had a great fun night in socializing and showcasing Filipino culture by wearing their provinces’ local costumes. They also enjoyed the beautiful campus of Visayas State University- the second largest state university in the Philippines.

The 3rd AUDRN #eyeball2019 Youth Meet-up may bring forth an edge to CPU in becoming a stronger advocate of Local knowledge in the 4th wave of the Industrial Revolution.
