Members of the CPU Packaging Engineering Department join student interns during the Annual OJT Visit to partner companies in the Visayas and Mindanao.

The Packaging Engineering Department of the Central Philippine University College of Engineering conducted its Annual OJT Visit to partner companies in the Visayas and Mindanao on November 17, 2025, and January 15–16, 2026, to monitor student interns and review their training programs.

Faculty members visited Dole Philippines, Inc. in Polomolok, South Cotabato; Universal Robina Corporation Cebu Plant 2 in San Fernando, Cebu; and Treasure Island Packaging Corporation (iPak) in Mandaue City, Cebu. The visit focused on evaluating student welfare, training quality, and alignment with program objectives.

Host companies reported positive feedback on the interns’ performance and contributions. All partners expressed their willingness to continue the OJT collaboration with CPU in the next academic year, with some departments also requesting additional interns.
