The Central Philippine University (CPU) Organization Fair, held on August 14-15, 2024 at the Alumni Promenade Concert Park, was a vibrant celebration of student involvement, showcasing the diverse range of organizations and fraternities within the university. The fair provided an invaluable platform for students to explore their interests, connect with fellow Centralians, and become active members of the community, with booths representing academic, religious, special, cultural, arts, and sports groups.

The event commenced with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the official opening of the fair. The ceremony was graced by distinguished university figures, including Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, CPU President; Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, CPU Vice President for Student Affairs; and Pastor Alfred C. Morales, Director of the Office for Student Development and Programs. CPU Republic officials, including CPUR President Ron Xavier M. Caldito, CPUR Prime Minister Crisfe P. Vergara, and CPU Adviser Daryl T. Lutero, were also in attendance. Additionally, Ministry for Organizations and Fraternities Senator Fred Henrieck B. Casañare and Deputy Minister Julienne Patricia highlighted the significance of student organizations in fostering a sense of belonging and leadership among the student body.

Throughout the two-day fair, the Alumni Promenade Concert Park was filled with excitement as students eagerly explored the various booths. Each organization and fraternity creatively displayed its unique offerings, ranging from academic support to cultural activities and social advocacy. The fair also featured interactive games and giveaways, creating a lively atmosphere that encouraged students to engage with the organizations and learn more about how they could get involved.

The CPU Organization Fair served as a crucial avenue for students to immerse themselves in the rich and varied campus life at CPU. By participating in the fair, students had the opportunity to discover new interests, make meaningful connections, and find their place within the university’s vibrant community. The event underscored CPU’s commitment to nurturing student participation and involvement, ensuring that every student could contribute to and benefit from the diverse tapestry of student life at Central Philippine University.
