On March 8, 2025, CPU-NSTP joined the PA-wide blood donation drive in celebration of the 128th Philippine Army Anniversary.

On March 8, 2025, the Central Philippine University – National Service Training Program (CPU-NSTP) participated in a nationwide blood donation drive as part of the 128th Philippine Army Anniversary Celebration. The event, held at Rose Memorial Auditorium, was themed “Dugong Alay ng Laang Kawal at mga Makabagong Bayani Tungo sa Matatag na Sandigan ng Bagong Pilipinas.”

The bloodletting initiative aimed to help meet the ongoing demand for blood in hospitals and medical institutions across the region. CPU-NSTP students, faculty, and staff actively took part in the event, demonstrating their commitment to community service and humanitarian efforts.

“We are grateful for the participation of our students and faculty members in this meaningful initiative. We hope to inspire more individuals to engage in such noble efforts,” said Prof. Annalie D. Gilongos, CPU-NSTP Coordinator.

Distinguished members of the Philippine Army were also present, including Maj. Shem Katipunan, Col Noel Parcon (Ret.), LTC Ryan Matutina (INF) PA, Col Rolando Palomar (Ret.), and Col Dante Dolar (Res.).

The CPU-NSTP remains dedicated to spearheading impactful programs that instill civic responsibility and humanitarian service among students. By fostering partnerships with key organizations, such as the Philippine Army, the program plays a vital role in shaping responsible citizens and contributing to a healthier, more resilient society.
