CPU Library Information Science program faculty member Mr. Stephen Alayon has been named as one of the Outstanding Professionals of the Year 2020 by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The PRC announced the list of awardees on Thursday, October 23, 2020.

The award is considered as the highest distinction conferred upon a professional by the PRC.

Alayon is currently the Information Specialist 2 (Head) of the Library and Data Banking Services Section, Training and Information Division, Aquaculture Department, Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC/AQD) in Tigbauan, Iloilo (SEAFDEC Aquaculture Department Library).
