Director of Libraries Ma. Cynthia T. Peleña co-authored a book chapter with Dr. Reysa Alenzuela in the book Administration in Theological Libraries: The Theological Librarian’s Handbook — Volume 2 (2021) edited by Andrew Keck and published by Atla Open Press, an imprint of the American Theological Library Association (ATLA).
The book chapter, “Theological Library in the New Normal Environment: New Dynamics of Institutional Relationship” highlights the services of the Henry Luce III Library in response to the new normal and the positive effect of institutional relationships with other libraries and organizations. The library has collaborated with various partners in services and activities.
The book features various topics on theological libraries written by librarians and information professionals around the world. The book is the second volume of the Theological Librarians Handbook series.
Co-author Dr. Reysa Alenzuela, currently based in the Czech Republic, is currently a professor for the Graduate School and Consultant for Research and Publication under the CPU Office of the President.
The American Theological Library Association, established in 1946, is a group of librarians and information professionals focused on advancing scholarship in the fields of theology and religion. Atla Open Press is ATLA’s publishing platform for open access books on the “intersection of librarianship and the study of theology and religion.”
