The Central Philippine University Kindergarten Visual Arts Group has officially opened its Christmas Story Painting Exhibit at the Henry Luce III Library, welcoming the Centralian community to a week-long celebration of creativity, color, and Christmas spirit from December 10 to 17, 2025.
The exhibit features original artworks from kindergarten pupils, showcasing a blend of artistry and storytelling through vivid imagery and personal expression.
CPU Kindergarten Principal Praise E. Glory, LPT, M.Ed, shared her admiration for the young artists and the significance of the exhibit in nurturing early creative development. “This exhibit reflects how our children see and feel the Christmas story in their own heartfelt way,” she said. “Under the guidance of their adviser, Ma’am Sunsen Guirjem-Casiple, they brought to life the truth that Jesus is the reason for the season, translating the story into colors and shapes that speak straight to the heart.”
In announcing the event on their official Facebook page, CPU Kindergarten invited the public to take part in the meaningful display, writing, “Come see the heart of Christmas told through color, creativity, and the eyes of our young artists. It’s a week-long showcase of beauty, wonder, and the joy we celebrate this season. Don’t miss it—swing by, be blessed, and let the artwork speak straight to your soul!”
The exhibit remains open to students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and guests as part of Central Philippine University’s ongoing Christmas festivities. It serves as a heartfelt reminder of the beauty found in the simplicity of childhood art and the enduring message of Christmas woven into each brushstroke.
