The CPU Junior Republic Book and Toy Drive brings hope, imagination, and joy to children in need, because every donated book and toy helps build brighter futures, one child at a time.
The CPU Junior Republic, an organization under the CPU Elementary Department, launches a book and toy donation drive for its adopted public elementary schools as part of its service initiatives, aiming to support young learners with limited access to educational resources at the start of the academic year. The activity reflects the organization’s commitment to social responsibility and community outreach.
The donation drive focuses on providing books and toys to help address the lack of learning materials among underprivileged children. Books are emphasized as essential tools in developing literacy, creativity, and confidence, while toys are included to support play-based learning and child development.
According to the organization, the initiative seeks to extend learning opportunities beyond the university by responding to the educational needs of partner schools. The collected donations are expected to benefit students who have limited access to reading materials and other educational resources.
The project highlights the role of student organizations in implementing service-oriented programs that contribute to community development. Through initiatives such as this, the CPU Junior Republic strengthens its partnership with adopted schools while promoting volunteerism and civic engagement within the Central Philippine University community.
