From March 4 to 7, 2026, the Special Science Class (SSC) sections of the CPU Junior High School Department ventured to Damires Hills to explore the blessings of nature and learn the importance of teamwork. Special science students from Grades 7 to 8 spent four days relaxing while discovering new things about themselves. Lessons on independence and friendship resonated with the students as they experienced life away from home.

The learners were accommodated in hotel rooms at Damires Hills, where they stayed during the camp. The rooms were complete with beds, air-conditioning, and televisions, allowing students to watch movies during their free time between activities. Buffet meals were also provided so students could freely enjoy their food. In addition, they had the opportunity to swim in the pool and enjoy recreational activities.

One of the highlights of the camp was the Miss SSC event, where students had the chance to showcase their beauty, confidence, and wit. The participants became the stars of the evening during the first night of the camp. Throughout the program, students also participated in dancing and singing activities that energized them for the days ahead. Some even stayed up late to watch movies and bond with their friends.

In the end, the SSC students not only gained valuable lessons from the camping trip but also created memorable experiences. The camp showed that learning can be both meaningful and enjoyable, especially when shared with friends.
