Back-to-back champions! The CPU Junior High School Pagsibol Dance Troupe shines once again, proudly holding their gold medals and Certificates of Recognition after defending their ILOPRISAA 2026 title at Huasiong College of Iloilo – Ledesco Campus.

The CPU Junior High School Pagsibol Dance Troupe once again showcased exceptional grace, precision, and cultural pride as they successfully defended their championship title at the ILOPRISAA 2025-2026 Cultural Contests held on February 19, 2026, at the Huasiong College of Iloilo – Ledesco Campus, starting at 1:00 PM. This victory marks them as back-to-back champions, solidifying their dominance in the secondary-level dance category amid fierce competition from other private schools in Iloilo. The talented troupe, composed of dedicated Junior High School dancers, included:

  • ACANTO, Alona Jane (8 SSC)
  • ARNILLO, Correne Joy (8 Sampaguita)
  • CABALLERO, Phamaela Ray (9 Narra)
  • DIGNADICE, Patrice Abigail (9 Acacia)
  • ESPEDION, Princess Kiana (9 Acacia)
  • HIPE, Chelsea Skye (8 Camia)
  • LOSARIA, Mekaela Casiophia (9 Gmelina)

Additionally, CALLAO, Keziah Ysabelle from the Senior High School supported the team’s efforts.

Patrice Dignadice was asked afterwards for a comment, she said: “We are very proud that all our hard work—the long hours of practice, sweat, and tears—has truly paid off. This journey wasn’t easy, but every bit of it was definitely worth it. We take pride in representing our school, and we are incredibly thankful to our coaches, trainers, families, friends, and supporters for their love and continuous support. This victory holds even greater meaning for us because it is our second time emerging as champions, and we are grateful that we were able to successfully defend our title.”

Their captivating performance blended traditional Filipino elements with dynamic execution, earning high praise from judges and spectators alike for their energy, synchronization, and heartfelt representation.

This back-to-back triumph highlights the troupe’s rigorous training, teamwork, and commitment to excellence under the guidance of their coaches and the CPU Junior High School community.
