CPU administrators, together with representatives of CPUDHS Batch 1985, pose for a photo opportunity during the Dedication Rites of the new Science Laboratory at Central Philippine University Junior High School.

The Central Philippine University Junior High School (CPU JHS) held the Dedication Rites for its new Science Laboratory on January 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

The new facility is a project donated by the Central Philippine University Development High School (CPUDHS) Batch 1985.

The dedication rites formally began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by CPU President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, together with the University’s vice presidents: Dr. Merle L. Junsay, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, Vice President for Student Affairs; Dr. Florence P. Bogacia, Vice President for Finance and Enterprises; Engr. Dany C. Molina, Vice President for Administration; and Dr. Aries Roda D. Romallosa, Acting Vice President for Research, Development and Extension. They were joined by representatives of CPUDHS Batch 1985 and Assoc. Prof. Charlett B. Dianala, Principal of the Junior High School Department.

Following the ribbon-cutting, Words of Welcome were delivered by Rev. Dr. Dagohoy and Assoc. Prof. Dianala. In their messages, they welcomed the guests and participants and expressed gratitude to CPUDHS Batch 1985, highlighting the project’s vital role in enhancing science education and learning facilities.

The program continued with a Scriptural Affirmation and the singing of the hymn “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.” A testimony on God’s faithfulness was then shared by Mr. Jan Acanto, representative of CPUDHS Batch 1985, highlighting the Batch’s commitment to giving back to their alma mater.

An Act of Dedication and the dedicatory prayer were led by Rev. Dr. Cris Amorsolo V. Sian, Senior Pastor of the University Church.

The dedication rites concluded with fellowship snacks, allowing administrators, faculty members, staff, alumni, and guests to share in the celebration of the newly opened facility.
