A total of 337 students, parents, faculty and staff celebrated the CPU JHS 8th Moving-up Ceremony.

“The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.” – The Central Philippine University Junior High School (CPU JHS) held its Recognition Program on May 29, 2023, Honors and Awards Program on May 30, 2023 and its Moving Up Ceremony on May 31, 2023 at the Rose Memorial Auditorium.

CPU President Dr. Teodoro C. Robles had been an active participant of these commencement activities. In one of his welcome remarks, he acknowledged the parents for being there to witness the recognition of their children who deserve to receive what they have worked for. He thanked the faculty and staff of the Junior High School for doing their best in educating their students.

During its Honors and Awards Program, the different awards were distributed by CPU JHS Principal Prof. Charlett B. Dianala, Dr. Robles and PTA President for SY 2022-2023 Ms. Cheryl B. Maralit. The grade level awards included With High Honors, With Honors, Academic Awards, Scholarship Awards, Cash Awards and Special Awards. Grants-In Aid were also awarded to the recipients.

CPU JHS also celebrated its 8th Moving-Up Ceremony with a total of Three Hundred Thirty Seven (337) movers. The ceremony was actively participated in by Dr. Robles, VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Irving Domingo L. Rio and VP for Student Affairs Dr. Esther Rose Romarate; faculty and parents. This year’s guest speaker was Vice Admiral Alexander P. Pama (Ret), who is also a graduate of CPU High School batch 1971.
