Dr. Eleonora B. Padilla shared her insights during the seminar as a resource speaker.

The CPU Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC) in collaboration with the CPU Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) conducted a seminar for administrative assistants of Central Philippine University on March 22, 2024, at the Sotogrande Iloilo Hotel.

The said seminar, entitled “Organizational and Communication Skills for Administrative Assistants” featured profound insights into developing important skills and ways to improve the productivity and performance of administrative staff from various offices within Central Philippine University.

The program proper started at 8:30 AM after the registration of the applicants and was followed by the presentation of the vision, mission, and quality policy. A total of seventy-four (74) attendees have participated in the said program. CPU HR Director, Dr. Rodel Palomar welcomed the participants and discussed the seminar’s rationale and objectives.

Two resource speakers graced the event by sharing their insights and knowledge about the two most important skills each of the administrative assistants should practice. Dr. Eleonora B. Padilla discussed the role of communication skills, while Mr. Jobert Cautivar talked about organizational skills.

Shedrick P. Layson, Secretary of the Social Sciences Department, is looking forward to more insightful seminars and workshops in the future. “The organizational and communication seminar by the RCECC was worth the time as Dr. Padilla and Sir Joebert were insightful and informative. It provided the staff with updates regarding technical writing as well as managing the day-to-day tasks in the office,” he remarked.

In this event, administrative assistants from various offices learned how to engage in dynamic simulations and hands-on activities and delved deeper into refining their communication and organizational skills. “Let’s celebrate this fruitful collaboration and the commitment to continuous growth,” stated Pinky E. Lutero-Tongol, Secretary of Review, Continuing Education and Consultancy Center (RCECC).
