Attendees, composed of educators, academic leaders, and professionals, actively participated in discussions and activities aimed at designing practical microcredential programs for their institutions.

On March 6, 2026, the Central Philippine University (CPU) Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC), in partnership with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), successfully conducted the seminar-workshop “Microcredentials Revolutionized: Designing Courses and Actionable Roadmaps for Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)” at the Conference Room, Educational Media Center (EMC).

The event gathered educators, academic leaders, and professionals to explore how microcredentials can transform higher education by creating flexible, industry-aligned learning pathways and innovative program designs for Philippine institutions.

“RCECC expresses sincere appreciation to the resource speaker, partners, and all participants who contributed to the success of this learning engagement. Initiatives like this continue to advance responsive and future-ready education in the country,” Pinky Lutero-Tongol, RCECC Secretary said.

A highlight of the seminar was the session delivered by Dr. Greg Tabios Pawilen, whose expertise in curriculum studies provided participants with practical frameworks and actionable strategies for developing and implementing microcredential programs. His discussion offered valuable perspectives on aligning academic innovation with the evolving needs of learners and industries.

By offering programs and initiatives like this, the university continues to support educators and students in creating meaningful, future-ready learning experiences across the Philippines.
