In observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, Central Philippine University (CPU) held a seminar titled HER Story: A Conversation on Inspiring Stories by Women on November 28, 2025, at Ancheta Hall, College of Theology. The event was organized by the CPU Gender and Development (GAD) office in collaboration with the Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC) and the Community Engagement and Service-Learning Center (CESL).

The seminar commenced with registration led by the RCECC, followed by an opening prayer by Asst. Prof. Denie Erwin Tan, GAD Committee member. Welcome remarks were delivered by Dr. Lenny Rose P. Mucho, Director of RCECC, and the speaker was introduced by Asst. Prof. Johanna Faith M. Candido, Director of the Guidance Services Center.

The lecture-discussion was facilitated by Roselynn Hope Fabula-Cabanos, CPU Guidance Associate. In her message, Fabula-Cabanos shared insights on empowering women, inspiring participants to embrace resilience and advocate against gender-based violence. An open forum followed, moderated by Assoc. Prof. Rea Angelica F. Villeza, Chairperson of the Religion and Ethics Department. Certificate and token were distributed, with closing remarks delivered by Dr. Anna May A. Yap-Zerrudo, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center. The seminar concluded with a closing prayer by Dr. Myrna T. Luceño, GAD Committee member, and was hosted by Master of Ceremony Asst. Prof. Maria Fe B. Dequito, also a GAD Committee member.

The CPU GAD Committee, which organized the event, is chaired by Dr. Jelvit Amor C. Alicante, with members including Asst. Prof. Johanna Faith M. Candido, Engr. Dimpna C. Castigador, Asst.
