Westbridge Football Club clinches the U-13 championship at the Dinagyang Mayor’s Cup International Football Tournament 2026.

Central Philippine University (CPU) is hosting the Dinagyang Mayor’s Cup International Football Tournament 2026 from January 8 to 17, 2026, at the CPU Big Field.

The tournament, held in partnership with the Iloilo City Football Club and Jaro Zigzag AC, features different age brackets’ categories, showcasing Ilonggo football talents.

The official opening ceremony took place on January 17, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. at the CPU Football Grandstand, formally marking the tournament and gathering participating teams, officials, and guests. The program began with an opening prayer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. CPU President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy delivered the welcome address, after which Jonas Belosillo and Fernando Jose Rico introduced the guest speaker. An inspirational message was then delivered by Hon. Mayor Raisa Treñas, Mayor of Iloilo City, followed by the oath of sportsmanship led by a representative from the Iloilo City Football Club. The ceremony concluded with the ceremonial kick-off, officially starting the tournament.

The matches will continue at the CPU Big Field on Saturday, January 17, with other age brackets competing for their respective trophies.
