University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy and Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate together with CPU department heads and members of corporations, faculty, and staff pose for a group photo following the LED Wall Dedication Ceremony.
Central Philippine University (CPU) formally dedicated its newly installed outdoor LED Wall in a ceremony held on June 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM in front of the New Valentine Building. The event marks a significant enhancement in the university’s digital infrastructure, replacing the traditional tarpaulins previously used for announcements with a modern, energy-efficient display.
The program began with introductory words from University President, Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, who emphasized the symbolic and practical significance of the LED Wall. “This dedication service reminds us once again of God’s provisions for Central Philippine University. We are deeply grateful to our generous alumni—Dr. Carmen P. Santos in particular—who donated an amount sufficient not just for one LED Wall, but for two,” he said.
Rev. Dr. Dagohoy further announced the forthcoming installation of another LED Wall in front of the Administration Building to serve those outside the campus and keep them informed of university developments. In his speech, he also commended Engr. Dany C. Molina, Vice President for Administration, for the successful implementation of priority projects. Concluding his message, Rev. Dr. Dagohoy cited Psalm 103:1–5, reminding the Centralian community of God’s enduring faithfulness and provision.

Following the President’s address, the attendees joined in a Doxology before hearing a Scriptural Affirmation led by Pastor Justine Palmes Mije, Associate Minister for Campus Ministries. “This LED Wall is from the Lord,” Pastor Mije declared, citing James 1:17 and 2 Corinthians 9:8–11. “In receiving this gift, we acknowledge that He made us a steward of this wall for the purpose it may serve the Lord and proclaim His kingdom.”
The central part of the program was the Act of Dedication, with Pastor Mije leading the gathered community in a responsive litany. The attendees affirmed the purpose of the LED Wall in unison: “We dedicate this LED Wall to you, O God—that it may serve its purposes and proclaim your lordship in this institution.” The dedication reflected CPU’s mission to integrate faith and technology, highlighting the wall’s role in spreading information, promoting transparency, and glorifying God in campus life.

A Dedicatory Prayer followed, with all attendees extending their hands toward the LED wall as a gesture of blessing and consecration.
The event concluded with a Photo Opportunity, capturing a moment of gratitude and celebration among administrators, staff, and campus ministry leaders.
As CPU continues to expand and modernize its facilities, this LED wall stands as both a technological upgrade and a spiritual milestone—a visual testimony of the university’s commitment to innovation, stewardship, and God-centered education.
