The CPU Henry Luce III Library held a training on developing an institutional research repository for librarians and staff on January 21-23, 2021.
The training was held in preparation for the launch of the planned digital repository for the research output of the university.
Stephen Alayon, Elvi Nemiz, Daryl Superio and Joy Geromiano, librarians and experts from Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center – Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) Library & Data Bank were among the speakers during the event. They shared their knowledge in creating and developing a digital repository.
The digital repository will be open and accessible online. The focus of the repository is to archive and organize the research output of students and faculty.
The planned project is managed by the Henry Luce III Library of Central Philippine University.
