The Dean of the College of Engineering Engr. Dany C. Molina is now the Vice President for Administration of Central Philippine University. Molina’s position is vital to the administrative affairs of the University, under the leadership of President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy. Planning, organizing and coordinating with the administration are top responsibilities of the VPA.

Molina attended a Post Masteral Study from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia in 1997; and his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City in 1995. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Central Philippine University, 1987 as Most Outstanding ME Graduate.

He graduated in High School at Antique National School in 1982 (5th Honorable Mention), and his Elementary as Salutatorian in San Jose Pilot Elementary School 1978.

Molina is passionate about Engineering Education and being an effective leader he strived to expand his knowledge; attending several International Trainings and Immersion programs from foreign schools- among them, The University of California Berkeley (August 26-30, 2019), Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, (September 2-6, 2019); at Fukuoka University, Fukuoka, Japan, and at Fujishita Company Ltd. in Nagasaki, Japan (May 10-17 2019); Faculty Exchange Program from ZhengZhou University of Industrial Technology, Zhengzhou, Henan, China, October 17-30, 2017 UBCHEA Freeman Fellow: Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan, Fall 2013; UBCHEA Freeman Fellow: Baylor University, Waco Texas, USA, Fall 2012 Leadership Training: Haggai Institute, Maui, Hawaii, USA, 2005 and Faculty Training at Milwaukee School of Engineering, Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA, (Spring 2003).

Engr. Dany Cuevas Molina is a former National President of the Philippine Association of Engineering Schools (the first and the only elected President coming from an institution outside of Metro Manila since the founding of the organization in 1955). As Dean of CPU College of Engineering, Molina has been President of the Council of Engineering and Architecture Schools in Western Visayas; among his many professional organizations.
He has been the Officer-In-Charge of the CPU Software Engineering Department. He took and passed the Mechanical Engineering Board Exam on the same year after his graduation and ranked 11th with a rating of 92.4%.

He is a recipient of many awards; among them, the United Board For Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA) Fellowship Award, 2012-2014, and various professorial chair awards given by Central Philippine University.

He is also actively involved in accreditation of engineering programs as: (1) Commission Member of the Commission on Engineering and Architecture Education of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) (2) Program Evaluator of the (a) Philippine Technological Council, Accreditation and Certification Board for Engineering and Technology; (b) Commission on Higher Education; Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and (c) Engineering and Architecture Regional Quality Assessment Team, Central Philippine University College of Engineering.

Engr. Molina hails from San Jose, Antique. He is happily married to Centralian Dr. Felice D. Garingalao, M. D., F.P.C.P. (Internist and Infectious Diseases Specialist). They have two professional children: Danielle Liza G. Molina, BS Public Health Graduate, UP Miag-ao and Noelle Angela G. Molina, BS Aeronautical Engineering from PATTS College of Aeronautics.
