By CPU Gospel Team

From December 1 to 4, 2025, the CPU Gospel Team conducted a four-day community outreach in the university’s adopted communities: Tabuc Suba, San Isidro, Lanit, and Bito-on in Jaro, Iloilo City. The outreach aimed to share the message of hope and encouragement during the Christmas season through simple yet meaningful acts of service.
Each day, Gospel Team members visited one community, facilitating a short but engaging program. Instead of the usual live drama presentations, this year’s outreach centered on film showing, allowing children and families to learn values-based lessons through visual storytelling. The films highlighted themes of faith, kindness, perseverance, and God’s love—messages that resonated with the participants, especially during the holiday season.
The program also included raffle draws, which added excitement and joy among the attendees, particularly the children. After the film showing, the team distributed snacks, fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere where members could interact with the residents. These simple gestures created meaningful connections with the families and allowed the team to show genuine care and compassion.
Through its December outreach, the CPU Gospel Team fostered community unity and compassion, engaging residents with films, raffles, and acts of service in Tabuc Suba, San Isidro, Lanit, and Bito-on.
Throughout the four days, the CPU Gospel Team witnessed how small acts of kindness can create lasting impact. In every community, the residents welcomed the team with openness and gratitude. Many children expressed enthusiasm and eagerness to participate, while parents appreciated the effort to bring uplifting messages to their area.
The outreach also strengthened the unity and dedication of the Gospel Team as they worked together to prepare materials, organize the program, and engage with the communities. The experience reminded them that ministry is not defined by the size of the activity, but by the sincerity of serving others with love.
As the outreach concluded, the CPU Gospel Team returned with renewed inspiration—a deeper sense of purpose, greater compassion for the communities they serve, and a strengthened commitment to continue sharing God’s love wherever they are called.
