The Central Philippine University Gender and Development (CPU GAD) Office conducted an orientation session introducing the INTENSE Program to interested faculty members and students. The event aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the program and guide aspiring scholars through the opportunities it offers.
The session formally opened with representatives presenting the background and objectives of the INTENSE Program. They discussed the application process in detail, outlining the qualifications, required documents, and screening procedures for prospective applicants. Participants were also informed about the academic structure of the program, including the courses they would be taking and the expectations set for future scholars.
In addition, the speakers highlighted the benefits of the program, such as financial support, covered expenses, and internship opportunities. The orientation emphasized how the INTENSE Program prepares students not only academically but also professionally, particularly for those interested in studying abroad, including opportunities in Taiwan. The representatives also explained the scope of services and assistance that scholars would receive throughout their academic journey.
The session concluded with an open forum where attendees were encouraged to raise questions and clarify concerns. The interactive Q&A portion allowed participants to better understand the program and assess whether it aligns with their academic and career goals. Overall, the orientation provided valuable insights and created an engaging environment for those considering becoming INTENSE scholars.
