As of September 4, 2020, there are 11,880 enrolled students at Central Philippine University. Including the students who are in the online enrolment queue, the number is 12,694. According to CPU President, Dr. Teodoro C. Robles, “The enrolment is a statement of trust by students in their education at CPU in spite of the difficulties they encounter. Our students are God’s blessings. We need to make sure that we provide quality education.”

As of this day, the following colleges have exceeded last year’s enrolment number: Arts and Sciences, Business and Accountancy, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

The enrolment for Basic Education departments and College will end on September 5, and downpayments will be received until September 7. Meanwhile, enrolment for the College of Medicine, School of Graduate Studies, and College of Law is extended until September 12, 2020.

The target of 10,000 has been exceeded, and Dr. Florence P. Bogacia, Vice President for Finance and Administration, is grateful to everyone and most especially to God for the enrolment turnout. She said, “Thank you for the parents for their trust and confidence in the University for the education of their children. Thank you to the students for choosing CPU to help them achieve their dreams and aspirations. Thank you to the faculty for embracing the new normal of delivering the instruction. Thank you to the staff for all the support given for the online learning. Most of all, I am thanking God for giving us the privilege to mentor more than 12,000 students in the new normal.”

It can be remembered that the faculty of all colleges and departments were trained extensively in handling their classes via their respective Learning Management Systems and video conferencing applications. The Kindergarten and Elementary are using Schoology while the Junior High School is using Genyo. Meanwhile, the Senior High School and all Colleges are using Canvas.
