The Engineering Peer Facilitators held a weekly session titled Peer Support Facilitation Training on March 4, 2026, at the COE Guidance Office in the Engineering Building. The training brought together peer facilitators to enhance their practical skills and faith-informed approaches in supporting the mental wellness of fellow students.

During the session, participants revisited facilitation strategies that combine practical peer support methods with spiritual reflection. The training emphasized the importance of faith-informed guidance in fostering a supportive environment where students can encourage one another and navigate personal and academic challenges with compassion and understanding.

The training was pioneered by GracefulMinds and was re-echoed to the participating peer facilitators by Frances Denise De Asis. Through discussions and shared insights, the facilitators reflected on ways to apply these principles in their interactions with fellow students.

The session underscored the commitment of the Engineering Peer Facilitators to continuously develop both their facilitation skills and spiritual perspectives as they work to guide, encourage, and support their peers within the university community.
