CPUES Batch 2021 singing their graduation song.

A total of 138 students from Central Philippine University Elementary School graduated in a virtual ceremony on July 17, 2021.

Recruitment Officer Pastor Alfred Morales led the opening prayer and the welcome messages were given by CPU President Dr. Teodoro C. Robles and Board of Trustees Chairman Atty. Von Lovel Bedona.

“I ask that you put Jesus at the center of your heart. I ask that you read your bible and pray every day. I ask that you remember the Christian values your teachers have taught you. You are not only excellent pupils, you are Centralians. You are young people who believe and follow Jesus Christ,” said Dr. Robles.


Speaker Ms. Joanna Christine Rabulan is currently the Area Head in Western Visayas for Security Bank.

He also expressed that this year’s graduation ceremony is a testament of God’s favor and grace.

In his message, Atty. Bedona reminded that students to show gratitude to their parents for all their sacrifices and to continue to work hard and persevere.

Ms. Joanna Christine Rabulan (CPUES Batch 1981), Area Head, Security Bank-Western Visayas was the speaker for this year’s virtual graduation ceremony.

“To the young graduates, write your story intentionally. When I say this, I mean that you should be able to know how you see yourself from the beginning of the story to the end”, said Rabulan

She emphasized to the graduating class that it is important to be a hero in their own story and that they should anchor their lives to God.

“Our realization that it is only God whom we can continue to strongly connect to. Young graduates amidst your challenges as well as your family’s challenges, He is the only one that will lift us from the ashes of these unwelcome experiences.”

Response from the graduates was given by Chelsea Limbungan (with high honors) and Angel Celestine Punzalan (with high honors). Office of Communications Director Rev. Francis Neil Jalando-on led the closing prayer.

On July 15, the CPUES Dedication Ceremony took place at the University Church with Pastor Christian Larry Kwe (CPUES Batch ‘1995) as the speaker followed by the Honors and Awards Program on July 16.
