The participating CPU Elementary students, alongside their parents or guardians, congregated at the CPU Gymnasium as they engage in a brief warm-up in the form of a quick Zumba session in preparation for the upcoming Fun-Run.

On the morning February 25, 2026, the students of CPU Elementary arrived at the school at 6:00 AM to participate in a campus wide fun-run, to kick off the start of their annual Family Day celebration, which aims to foster and strengthen familial bonds, through a series of events and activities.

The elementary students, ranging from Grades 1 to 6, alongside their respective parents or guardians, gathered at the CPU Gymnasium to hear the welcome remarks from the announcers, followed by a quick warm-up in the form of an energetic Zumba session in preparation for the start of the run.

The Fun-Run officially commenced at 7:00 AM, with the area near Gate 7 serving as the starting line. Excited students and parents gathered at the gates, awaiting the final go-signal to begin the loop around the campus. Participants were categorized by colored wristbands indicating their chosen distance: Yellow for 1.5km, Blue for 3km, and Red for the premier 5km track.

Upon crossing the finish line at Gate 6, runners were invited to the University Gym for refreshments and ice cream to cool down. The morning’s competitive spirit was capped off with an awarding ceremony, where the top three finishers in each category received medals and cash prizes. The event then transitioned into the opening program and a series of spirited ball games, maintaining the day’s high energy.
