CPU marks a significant step toward educational excellence and global quality standards as it is officially certified for ISO 21001:2018 by TQCSI, valid from August 19, 2025, until August 18, 2028.
Through its commitment to quality and continuous improvement, Central Philippine University (CPU) has been officially certified for ISO 21001:2018 (Educational Organizations Management System) by TQCSI, a fully accredited, third-party certification body providing auditing and certification of international management system standards.
The certification, valid from August 19, 2025, until August 18, 2028, affirms CPU’s dedication to delivering quality education while ensuring that its systems and processes meet international benchmarks. By attaining ISO 21001:2018, the University strengthens its assurance of providing an environment that promotes efficiency, accountability, and innovation in higher education.
On June 10–11, 2025, CPU marked a significant milestone in its pursuit of Exemplary Christian Education for Life (EXCEL) and institutional quality when it successfully underwent the Stage 1 Audit for ISO 21001:2018 – Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS). The audit, conducted by TQCSI Philippines, was led by Ms. Lorali Ann Beltran as external auditor, with Ms. Gloria Olaivar, TQCSI Country Manager, serving as remote observer.
The Stage 1 Audit involved a comprehensive review of CPU’s documented information, operational readiness, and conformity to the requirements of ISO 21001:2018. This assessment included strategic direction, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and alignment of educational objectives with learners’ needs. Following the evaluation, CPU was recommended for Stage 2 Audit — a testament to its preparedness and commitment to quality education.
On July 7–8, 2025, CPU completed the Stage 2 Audit, which included rigorous onsite and remote assessments across various academic and administrative units. The two-stage process covered document reviews, internal audits, and system-wide evaluations to ensure compliance with international standards. During the exit conference on July 8, CPU was formally recommended for ISO 21001:2018 certification.
With the successful completion of the two-stage audit, CPU has officially earned its ISO 21001:2018 Certification, solidifying its reputation as a Christ-centered institution committed to academic excellence, operational integrity, and global competitiveness.
The ISO 21001:2018 certification stands as another significant step in CPU’s continuous journey toward educational excellence and institutional growth.
To God be the highest glory!
