A Centralian leader–On May 30, 2023, the CPU Communication Circle (CCC) conducted its annual election at the EMC Conference Room. It was hosted by Ryan Dave Poral (Vice President in Internal Affairs) and Milisa Joy Jacaba (Vice President in External Affairs).
The event was successful as ten (10) new organization officials were elected in their respective positions. Maxene Faith Tambanillo, a 3rd year, was chosen to be the new communication circle president for the SY 2023-2024. Together with her vice presidents, Christine Joy Hole for the Internal Affairs and Tresha Marie Gallos for the External Affairs. Other elected officials were Chelsea Marie Sermonia (Secretary), Keziah Marie Janaysay (Treasurer), Patricia Marie Pedroso (Auditor), Xandee Bryan Balogo (Business Manager), Kairos Rye Jalando-on (2nd year Rep), Melody Jotiz (3rd year Rep) and Primi Jun Haresco (4th year Rep).
According to Tresha Marie Gallos, VP External, “It was really a great pleasure to be elected as VP External since I believe me and my team have the best teamwork to improve and develop the organization’s competency.”
She also added, “Since, we just got elected as new officers in the organization, I believe we already have plans to develop and promote CCC not just here in CPU but to the whole city of Iloilo. Yet, the plans are still written above our imaginations but one thing is for sure, we’ll make CCC as the best organization in CPU with perseverance and faith.”
Apart from that, new members were also voted for the Comm Creative Squad, which is headed by Patricia Marie Pedroso along with Kairos Rye Jalando-on and Mikhail Blacer. Following the voting, a photo op ensued, and was preceded by a speech from Professor Clarece Benjamin, CPU Communication Circle adviser, wherein she appreciated their efforts and encouraged the officers to do their best.
