Pharmacy students showcase the TatakRX shirts launched by the CPU Pharmacy Department on December 6, 2025. The merchandise features designs inspired by symbols and concepts from the Pharmacy course.

The Central Philippine University’s College of Pharmacy introduced TatakRX, a shirt project intended to embody pride and dedication to the pharmacy profession, on December 6, 2025. The project is spearheaded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, designed by the Ministry of Arts and Cultural Affairs’ Virtual Artists, and is available for purchase by students and supporters.

The TatakRX shirts were designed to represent the values, concepts, and symbols associated with the Pharmacy course. More than just clothing, the designs symbolize the discipline and commitment expected of future pharmacists in the field.

TatakRX was created to showcase pharmacy students’ identities as well as their dedication,” said Jarra Mikaela Maldecer, board member of the Ministry of Outreach and External Affairs.

Priced at ₱289, the shirts were made available to the public following their launch. They come in several designs, including Hygeia’s Child, Pharmacy, and Art of Drugs, and can be ordered through an online form released by the department.

TatakRX allows students to express their enthusiasm for pharmacy while enjoying their experiences and building camaraderie within the department.

This marks the first batch of TatakRX, with other items expected to be released in the near future.
