The CPU-College of Law, together with the CPU-COL Senior Order of Kalantiao, the CPU-COL Provincial Council, and JCI Roxas Sinadya, holds a Masterclass on August 23, 2025, via Zoom, themed “Laying the Foundation: Thinking Like a Lawyer from Day One.”

The Central Philippine University (CPU) College of Law, in partnership with the CPU-COL Senior Order of Kalantiao, CPU-COL Provincial Council, and JCI Roxas Sinadya, successfully held a Masterclass for aspiring and future lawyers on August 23, 2025, via Zoom. The event, themed “Laying the Foundation: Thinking Like a Lawyer from Day One,” aimed to equip participants with practical skills and strategies to succeed in law school journey.

The program opened with the Philippine National Anthem, followed by a prayer, and opening remarks delivered by Atty. Liza Lyn Lamason-Garcia, CPU-College of Law Assistant Dean. In her message, she warmly welcomed all participants, highlighting the importance of laying a strong foundation for legal thinking and encouraging students to actively engage and learn from the Centralian lawyers who would be sharing their insights.

The masterclass featured four engaging sessions: Atty. Gabrielle Hermie D. Castrojas discussed Thriving in the Hot Seat: The Art of Law School Argumentation and Debate, followed by Atty. Ana Mae M. Tabilleran-Maternal with Read. Analyze. Digest: Your First Step to Legal Mastery. A raffle draw provided a lively intermission before the final sessions, where Atty. Nestle G. Taala presented ALAC Your Way Out: Spot the Issue, Say the Law, Slay the Answer, and Atty. Charles Vincent A. Saclauso concluded with Thrive and Survive: Real Tips and Practical Strategies to Succeed in Law School.

Closing remarks were delivered by Michael D. Ignacio, 2025 LO President of JCI Roxas Sinadya.
