CPU College of Law faculty and staff, together with University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, inspirational speakers Atty. Jehan U. Miranda and Atty. Gerald V. Pinpin, took a photo opportunity during the 2025 Orientation Program at the Rose Memorial Auditorium.

On August 30, 2025, the Central Philippine University (CPU) College of Law, together with the CPU College of Law Student Council and in partnership with the CPU Senior Law Order of Kalantiao, held its annual orientation program. Held at the Rose Memorial Auditorium, the event was attended by CPU-COL students from first to fourth year, faculty, and staff.

The event began with an opening prayer led by Micah Danielle J. Villanueva, Board Member of the College of Law Provincial Student Council, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the CPU Alma Mater song. University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy delivered the welcome message, setting the tone for the orientation.

“You made the right choice because you are attending a law college with a proven track record of offering quality, relevant, and impactful education,” Rev. Dr. Dagohoy said. He also highlighted the upcoming Bar examinations, noting that CPU will serve as one of the testing centers in the Visayas.

Afterward, Atty. Aila Rae B. Endonila, Dean of the CPU College of Law, introduced the faculty members. This was followed by video presentations on University Policies and General Services, after which Dean Endonila presented the College of Law policies. An intermission number was then presented by Mar Key Sultan, JD 2A.

The orientation also featured inspirational messages from Atty. Jehan U. Miranda and Atty. Gerald V. Pinpin. Atty. Jehan encouraged students to value collaboration as much as individual effort: “I didn’t always finish all the readings, but I had something just as valuable – a core group of classmates who shared the same dream,” she shared. Meanwhile, Atty. Pinpin shared his own law school journey and unforgettable moments, inspiring the students to persevere through challenges and remain committed to their aspirations.

The presentation of certificates of appreciation and tokens to the speakers was led by Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, CPU President; Atty. Aila Rae B. Endonila, CPU-COL Dean; and Hanna Alexandrea C. Tabita, Governor of the College of Law Provincial Student Council. The program also featured the introduction of the College of Law Provincial Student Council, followed by the oathtaking of the Senior Order of Kalantiao administered by Judge Oscar Leo S. Billena.

Closing remarks were delivered by Atty. Aila Rae B. Endonila, Dean of the College of Law. The orientation was hosted by Atty. Liza Lyn S. Lamason-Garcia, Assistant Dean of the College of Law.
