Dream, apply, achieve—start your engineering journey at CPU.
The Central Philippine University (CPU) College of Engineering has officially opened its application process for Academic Year 2026–2027, welcoming incoming first-year students, transferees, shiftees, and lifelong learners who wish to pursue engineering programs at the University.
As part of the admission requirements, the College will administer the Engineering Entrance Examination (E³) on May 23, 2026, through a face-to-face setup at the Engineering Building, CPU Campus, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The examination will cover Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Physics, and Chemistry.
Incoming First-Year Students
All Senior High School graduates are qualified to take the E³. However, engineering applicants are required to first take the CPU College Aptitude Test (CAT) prior to the Engineering Entrance Examination.
Applicants must complete the online application form at https://forms.gle/qxnjD94tMG3Rdp839 on or before April 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time).
A non-refundable examination fee of Php 500 must be paid to Account No. 9588 (E³) at Window/Teller No. 16, located at the back of the Administration Building, CPU Campus.
On the day of the examination, applicants are required to submit the following documents in a long brown envelope:
- A duly signed certification from the Senior High School principal or director indicating the strand currently being taken or already taken
- Photocopy of the proof of payment for the E³
- Photocopy of the email confirmation for the CPUCAT application
Room assignments will be posted on or before May 8, 2026, through the CPU website and official social media pages.
Transferees, Shiftees, and Lifelong Learners
Transferees, shiftees, and lifelong learners are also required to take the CPU College Aptitude Test (CAT), unless they already have valid CAT results. They must likewise take the corresponding Engineering Entrance Examination (E³) based on their evaluated entry level, subject to a non-refundable examination fee.
Lifelong learners and shiftees from non-engineering programs are classified as incoming first-year students and are required to take the E³ for first-year applicants, following the same application process.
Applicants coming from an engineering program must first secure an evaluated Transcript of Records (TOR) from the program chairperson or evaluator, indicating their entry year level. Those evaluated as incoming second year or above are required to pay the Php 500 examination fee and take the E³ on May 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Room EN 125, Engineering Building, CPU Campus.
