The Dean of the CPU College of Engineering, Engr. Dany C. Molina, was guest of CPUTV Program Looking Forward with Department Heads, Engr. Caesar Rico S. Acanto (Electrical Engineering), Engr. Bernie C. Cangrejo (Packaging Engineering), Engr. Mary Earl Daryl A. Grio (Civil Engineering), Engr. Jeriel G. Militar (Mechanical Engineering), Engr. Dahlia H. Pescos (Chemical Engineering) and Engr. Yeseil S. Sacramento (Electronics Engineering).

The Special Edition of Looking Forward was held at the CPUTV Studio at 2:00 to 2:30 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2020. The Dean and his Department Heads were objectively asked questions with regards to programs and projects of their Departments.

Molina expressed gratefulness with the results of the National Licensure Exams for Engineers and the CHED’s certification of the CPU College of Engineering as a Center of Excellence. The Department Heads also brought out their concerns which included a shortage of teachers and the number of students because of the K-12 program. It will be two years from now when the K-12 will have its full cycle.

However, the group collectively agreed upon initiatives to link up with government-sponsored agencies. Each Department Head resolved to create each own plan to strengthen and promote programs to increase the number of students and faculty.

Dean Molina also invited the College of Engineering alumni worldwide to attend the Grand Alumni Homecoming on February 5 to 9, 2020.
