Students from the Central Philippine University (CPU) College of Arts and Sciences came together for a fun-filled day of entertainment as part of an exciting summer fiesta held in honor of LGU Day. The occasion, which was held at Halfmoon Drive CPU on April 22, 2024, was a huge success and gave participants a unique experience full of dancing, music, and fellowship. Ready to fight the heat and take in the festivities, attendees arrived prepared to kill in their best Pantropiko-inspired attire. Students joined together to celebrate LGU Day and make lifelong memories, even in spite of the sweltering heat.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the highly anticipated lipsync competition, where students showcased their creativity, talent, and showmanship. The competition brought out the best in participants as they lip-synced to popular songs with passion and flair, captivating the audience with their performances. From energetic dance routines to comedic interpretations, each performance was unique and entertaining, showcasing the diverse talents of CPU students. The crowd cheered enthusiastically for their favorite acts, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. At the end of the event, attendees gave thoughtful and heartfelt reflections on the day’s happenings. LGU Day gave students a much-needed respite from the demands of school and an opportunity to relax, spend time with friends, and create new memories.

Without the efforts and commitment of the PASSC student council, the organizers, and all those who participated, LGU Day would not have been a success. Their combined efforts made sure that everyone had a fun and memorable time at the event. Everyone was excitedly awaiting the next chance to get together and make new memories, as the summer fest served as a monument to the sense of community and celebration that characterizes CPU.
