Law student practitioners from the CPU College of Law Legal Aid Clinic conduct a lecture on Anti-Rabies Law and Katarungang Pambarangay Law for barangay officials in Jalaud Norte, Zarraga, Iloilo on March 14, 2026.

On March 14, 2026, a team of law student practitioners from the Central Philippine University College of Law Legal Aid Clinic conducted a lecture on Anti-Rabies Law and Katarungang Pambarangay Law at Jalandoni Norte Barangay Hall in Jalaud Norte, Zarraga, Iloilo.

The lecture was conducted under the supervision of Atty. Ina Noelene Bernales and was attended by barangay officials. The session aimed to provide participants with legal knowledge relevant to community concerns and local governance.

During the lecture, the law student practitioners discussed legal provisions related to anti-rabies measures and the Katarungang Pambarangay system. The activity also gave barangay officials an opportunity to deepen their understanding of laws applicable to their responsibilities in the community.

According to the Legal Aid Clinic, the barangay officials expressed appreciation for the opportunity to learn more about laws relevant to the needs of their community. Through activities such as this, the College of Law continues to extend legal education beyond the university and into local communities.
