Central Philippine University (CPU) proudly congratulates its new Chemical Engineers, achieving an impressive 83.33% overall passing rate and ranking as the 7th top-performing school in the November 2024 Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination (ChELE).
Central Philippine University (CPU) has secured the 7th spot in the recently concluded November 2024 Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination (ChELE). The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on November 26, 2024.
Centralians first-time takers achieved a passing rate of 100%, contributing to the overall passing rate of 83.33%, marking CPU as one of the top performing schools. The new Centralian Chemical Engineers are Engr. Leane Armada, Engr. Frederick Vince Asis, Engr. John Edradan, Engr. Melgie Grace Olarte, Engr. Sophia Ormides, Engr. Jeremy Jan Plagata, Engr. Ivy Agustin Sacapaño, Engr. Samantha Ellen Uroa, Engr. Mayriel Zen Vedeja, and Engr. Shawn Mykhyll Yu.
The Chemical Engineering board exams were conducted on November 20-22, 2024, at PRC testing centers in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Rosales, with a total of 951 examinees nationwide.
Alongside CPU as top-performing schools are the following institutions: University of the Philippines-Diliman, De La Salle University-Manila, University of the Philippines-Visayas, University of the Philippines-Los Baños, Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, University of San Carlos, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Ateneo de Davao University, University of Santo Tomas, and Xavier University.
