Several students from the Central Philippine University College of Agriculture, Resources and Environmental Sciences (CPU CARES) have successfully completed their On-the-Job Training (OJT) at the Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Brawijaya in Indonesia.
The On-the-Job Training (OJT), also known as the Student Inbound Program, was held from May 27 to June 25, 2025, during which Centralians participated in academic and cultural exchanges with the host university.
The delegation was supervised by Lecturer Homer Erazo Deloso and included Centralian students Jan Erick G. Verde, John Brix L. Arban, and Jeanie Niebla.

The program included lectures covering a variety of topics such as livestock breeding, animal reproduction management and artificial insemination, dairy science and management practical work, poultry science and management, poultry nutrition and feed, livestock product handling, livestock production economics, and animal husbandry extension and communication.
In addition to academic sessions, participants engaged in outing activities including visits to Kembang Joyo Honey Bee Farm, the National Artificial Insemination Center Singosari, Kajoetangan Heritage Site, and a trip to Bromo Mountain.
It is also worth noting that the two institutions formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to promote mutual academic cooperation and student exchange.
This collaboration aims to provide valuable international experience, foster cross-cultural learning, and enhance the practical skills of students from both universities.
