The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Regional Training Center VI celebrated its 34th Anniversary on January 26-28, 2021, with a Virtual Product Exhibit. The CPU ARUGA Integrated Farming System Learning Site in Aganan, Pavia was one of the participants in ATI’s virtual exhibit.
CPU’s Agriculture Retirees Urban Gardening Association (CPU ARUGA) participated in the virtual exhibit, showcasing their urban garden produce: vegetables, corn and some high value crops. Vegetable gardening is among the various implemented projects of ARUGA in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture and other companies that provided the seeds. The ARUGA Garden-Farm is a 3, 400 square meter lot which CPU allowed to be used by the CPU Agriculture Alumni Association in 2012. It is within the CPU Centennial Village in Aganan, Pavia, Iloilo.

In January 2021, CPU ARUGA Integrated Farming System received its official certification as a Learning Site for Agriculture of ATI Region 6. CPU’s professional agriculturists are coming back to visit the ARUGA Center, eventually helping the farm-garden project with their knowledge and skills.
The garden-farm became a fellowship and headquarter facility for the CPU Agriculture Alumni Association, a.k.a. CPU ARUGA.
