Participants adhered to health and safety protocols by practicing social distancing.

The Convention of Philippine Baptist Churches held a seminar entitled” A CPBC Perspective on Financial Management”, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Camp Higher Ground, Barotac Viejo. The endeavor was spearheaded by CPBC Director for Pastoral Placement, Theological Education, and Ministerial Concerns Pastor Jec Dan Borlado.

To adhere to health and safety protocols, the Convention only admitted 40 participants from Iloilo, Capiz, Antique, and Aklan. Social distancing was strictly imposed.


Communications Rev. Francis Neil Jalando-on was one of the speakers for the event.

Camp Higher Ground Committee Chairperson Rev. Job A. Santiago welcomed the guests and speakers while CPBC General Secretary Rev. Dr. Jerson Narciso gave the opening remarks.

The seminar aims to revisit the Holy Scripture that sheds light on managing talent and treasure equip pastors and church leaders with financial literacy and stewardship of investment, and empower pastors on budgeting, resource generation, and management essential for life and ministry.

Resource speakers for the said seminar are CPU Communications Director Rev. Francis Neil Jalando-on, CPBC National Treasurer Mr. Agripino Gallos Jr., and Public Attorney II Atty. Kristine Ann Llanera- Vergara. The three speakers are all Centralians.
