Mark your calendars for October 12—the 2024 CPU Alumni Homecoming & General Assembly is calling! See you there!
The 2024 CPU Alumni Homecoming & General Assembly is set to take place next Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Rose Memorial Auditorium. Anchored in the theme “Legacy of Centralian Excellence: Celebrating CPU’s Working Students, Varsity Players, and Musicians,” this much-anticipated event will highlight the vibrant community of CPU, shining a spotlight on the accomplishments of working students, varsity players, and musicians throughout the years.
This event is a collaborative effort between Central Philippine University (CPU) and the Central Philippine University Alumni Association, Inc. (CPUAAI). Under the leadership of CPUAAI President Atty. Jeremy Bionat, co-chaired by Dr. Anita Illenberger and Dr. Esther Rose Romarate, and guided by advisers Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy and Dr. Florentino Alerta II, the steering committee has meticulously planned a variety of activities for all attendees.
Among the day’s most eagerly anticipated events are “Pasidungog: Honoring Board Topnotchers,” which celebrates academic excellence; “Pagtalupangod: Special Acknowledgment for Working Students, Varsity Athletes, and Musicians,” recognizing the dedication and achievements of those balancing multiple commitments; and “Recognition of CPU Alumni Jubilarians,” honoring the enduring contributions and milestones of alumni. Additionally, several groups will deliver special presentations, featuring CPUDHS Batch 1979, CPUDHS Batch 2004, CPUDHS Batch 1994, CPU STARs, CPU Men’s Chorale, and the CPU Physical Education Family.
Excitement is building as more prizes and surprises await attendees at the alumni event, promising a day filled with joy and unforgettable moments. To enhance this experience, the Central Philippine University Federation of Overseas Alumni Associations (CPUFOAA), Inc. is thrilled to announce that it will cover the registration fees for the first 100 registrants attending the homecoming for the very first time.
Don’t miss this opportunity to reconnect, celebrate, and strengthen the bonds that define our Centralian community. We look forward to sharing this special day with you!
