College of Engineering faculty Engr. Christsam Joy Jaspe won 1st place, Best Paper: Engineering and Technology Category during the International Conference on Engineering Education spearheaded by the Philippine Association of Engineering Schools last December 4, 2020.

The paper she co-authored with Mukand S. Babel entitled “Spatio- Temporal Projection of Water Balance Components under Climate Change Scenario of the Jalaur River Basin, Philippines”
investigates the impacts of climate change on water balance components under climate change scenario by assessing the spatio-temporal variation of precipitation, evapotranspiration, surface run-off, groundwater flow and water yield in the Jalaur River Basin.

She also presented the paper during the World Water Day Celebration of the Department of Local and Interior Government Region 6 on March 22, 2021.
