Engi-Week 2023 A 3-day event of fun and lively activities and programs focusing on Filipino heritage.
A productive relaxation–Organized by the Province of Engineering Student Council, the College of Engineering held its Engi-week 2023 with the theme “Pag-ugyon Inhinyero” from May 29 to May 31, 2023.
The 3-day event featured fun and lively activities and programs focusing on Filipino heritage, which Engineering students enjoyed. On the first day, Engineering students had the chance to showcase their skills in physical sports, specifically in Basketball, Volleyball, and Frisbee.
Aside from the physical sports, the council also organized the Laro ng Lahi, which served as a team-building for all Engineering academic organization officers on the same day. The purpose of the Laro ng Lahi is to strengthen the bond and camaraderie of the organizations through traditional Filipino games: Sack Race, Kadang-kadang, and Sipa.
With all the physical activities, students were given food stubs to enjoy and be refreshed by various food and drinks from food stalls that the PESC prepared in the Engineering building lobby.
The Teatro Inhinyero, a stunning theatrical play centered on the theme “Philippine Fantaserye,” featured captivating performances from various organizations under the College of Engineering on the second day. The actors portrayed iconic Filipino characters and brought enchanting and magical tales to life. The play showcased the beauty of Filipino folklore.
On the third day, May 31, 2023, the much-anticipated Engi-Night took place. The aforementioned event, which was originally scheduled to take place at the CPU Big Field, was moved to the Alumni Promenade Concert Park due to bad weather.
As part of the event’s dress code, the students were encouraged to choose the color of their attire depending on their status as a student:

Black – Wala Below 50% sa Canvas
Green – Walang Bagsak
Beige – Importante Buhi
Blue – I Love Engineering
Red – Ma’am/Sir, gabaton kamo floor wax?
